Dear patients and friends,

Last Thursday evening or early Friday morning, a fire began at our dental office in Colleyville. No one was present at the time and fortunately the fire was confined to a mechanical room. Our compressor and vacuum pump were completely destroyed, as well as a large volume of medical supplies. The heat generated by the fire melted a water backflow valve. This caused a water spray which in turn extinguished the fire. The Fire Marshall told me that had this not happened the entire building would have been consumed. Thankfully, God provided this amazing intervention.

Unfortunately, due to extensive water and smoke damage, we will be out of the office for a while. Our next door neighbor, Dr Robbie Hashem has graciously offered us the partial use of his orthodontic office this week as we do our best to accommodate our patients and begin the recovery process. We have contracted with Blackmon Mooring, a well-known disaster recovery firm, to handle the restoration. At this time we do not know how long this will take.

It’s Thanksgiving week, and we all have a lot to be thankful for. Please bear with us during this recovery time. On behalf of all of us here at Oliver Dental, we wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving!

Warm regards,

W. Laurence Oliver, DDS
